Gentex runs manufacturing lines in Kampala on a grid that can’t promise a full shift. Ariya’s answer was a 2.6 MWp solar PV system paired with 2.6 MWh of battery storage and full power stabilisation. Voltage and frequency are corrected before they ever reach a machine.

The stabilisation solution ensures genuinely uninterrupted power: when the grid sags or disappears, batteries take the load the same second. Since commissioning, production is up 30% and Gentex’s delivery reliability has become a competitive edge.
