The brief.
Finch Hattons is a luxury tented camp deep in Tsavo, far beyond the grid’s edge. Ariya built it a carport solar PV system of 220 kWp with 432 kWh of battery storage, operating entirely off-grid with genset integration as the last line of defence.
The design took Off-Grid Project of the Year (Gold) in 2024 and Best Off-Grid Solar Project in 2025. Silent, diesel-free nights included.
